Job description
This position will support the Global Marketing Planning function in facilitating an efficient global approach for marketing investment planning and management via the current Siebel MRM/OBIEE solution as well as future implemented marketing automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Support the effective management of more than $ 100M global marketing budget across the global marketing organization and along the cycle of marketing planning – execution – measurement
Act as MRM/OBIEE super user, being responsible for development & roll out of relevant marketing investment reporting (i.e. i.e. plan vs. actual analysis, Initiative related reporting, category spend reporting, etc.)
Conducting data analysis to provide transparency of marketing investment structure and enable strategy development process on an ongoing & ad hoc basis
Act as interface with Regional marketing groups, MRM IT, Global Finance/Marketing Accounting to drive efficient budget planning and management in MRM, and Global Analytics & Insights to enable an accurate and efficient data feed process from MRM into analytical tools
Drive the integration of Siebel MRM with other corporate applications (i.e. Iprocure, Oracle, Essbase, etc.) for improved reporting
Responsible for the facilitation of the monthly MRM audit
Support the global MRM business lead in marketing technology projects (implementation of new processes & tools automating critical business processes for the marketing organization)
Key Requirements
Experience utilizing Siebel platform or equivalent Marketing Resource Management platforms highly desired; Oracle/ERP experience desired
5 years related marketing finance or marketing operations experience for a global organization
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent, degree in IT or Marketing considered with minimum 5yrs experience supporting a marketing organization in the area of marketing operations / marketing finance/data analysis
Individual who is detailed and process oriented with interest in systems and how they work
The person in this role must possess strong and positive communication skills, be highly analytical with strong financial acumen
